2. General information on data processing
We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide this website, to answer enquiries or to carry out application procedures. This website does not use any analytics or tracking tools, does not use advertising cookies and does not load any content from external servers when a page is accessed.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is operated by an external hosting provider. When you access the website, the web server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser in so-called server log files. This includes in particular:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file accessed
- referrer URL (previously visited page)
- browser used and, if applicable, operating system
- amount of data transferred and HTTP status code
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing the website without technical errors and in its security (e.g. defending against attacks).
4. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
5. Contacting us by email and phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details (e.g. name, phone number, email address, content of your enquiry) in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to an employment relationship or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Application form and processing of applicant data
You can apply to us via our online application form. In doing so, we process the following details: first name, last name, phone number, email address, information on your category B driving licence, German and English language skills, earliest possible start date, the language version of the website you used and, optionally, your message.
Purpose: carrying out the application procedure and deciding whether to establish an employment relationship.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of an employment relationship) in conjunction with § 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). Any processing beyond this, e.g. adding you to a talent pool, only takes place with your separate consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Technical process: The form data is transmitted via an encrypted connection to a script on our web server and forwarded from there by email to our company mailbox (maxnippe@gmx.de). The data is not stored permanently in a database on the web server. To prevent misuse, a hash value of your IP address is stored for a maximum of one hour in order to limit excessive requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients: Your data is only made available to the persons in our company responsible for the application procedure and is processed technically by our hosting and email provider.
Storage period: If you are hired, your data will be transferred to your personnel file. If your application is rejected or withdrawn, your data will be deleted no later than six months after the end of the application procedure, unless longer retention is necessary to defend against legal claims (e.g. under the German General Equal Treatment Act) or you have consented to longer storage.
Providing your data is voluntary. However, we cannot process your application without the required details.
7. Applying and communicating via WhatsApp
On this website, we offer the option of applying or contacting us via the messenger service WhatsApp. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland, a company of the Meta group.
The WhatsApp buttons on our website are simple links. Only when you click on such a link will you be redirected to WhatsApp or will the WhatsApp app open; no data is transmitted to WhatsApp beforehand. If you write to us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes, among other things, your phone number, your profile name, communication metadata and, if applicable, your address book. According to WhatsApp, message content is end-to-end encrypted. It cannot be ruled out that data is also transferred to the USA; Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The legal basis for processing your application via WhatsApp is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Using WhatsApp is voluntary – you can also apply at any time via the form, by email or by phone. For further information, please see WhatsApp’s privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.
8. Fonts and images
The font used on this website (“Manrope”) is hosted locally on our server. No connection to servers of Google or other font providers is established when a page is accessed. All graphics and images are also delivered from our own server.
9. External form services
We do not use any external form service for the application form; processing takes place on our own web space (see section 6).
11. Your rights
Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the following rights at any time:
- access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)

12. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. Due to our registered office in Brandenburg, the competent authority for our company is:

13. Changes to this privacy policy
We will adapt this privacy policy as soon as the data processing on this website or the legal situation changes. The current version published here applies in each case.
